I’m TirsaMarie, a full-time entrepreneur running two businesses and a mom to an adorable little boy named KJ. I’m also a woman who believes you can have it all; so, I went out and got it. And I want to help you do that too.
Four years ago, my life was a juggling act. I was completing my degree in digital forensics, serving in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, working a full time job, and raising my beautiful baby boy. It constantly felt like I had too much to do and not enough time. Before I knew it, I was missing moments and milestones with my son. People tried to tell me that I would have to decide whether motherhood or ambition was my priority. But I’m a hustler by nature, and I was determined to have both.
In Spring of 2017, I combined my passions to launch VXXXV Apparel – a clothing line named after my son’s birthday and designed for the busy and unpredictable lives of entrepreneurs. Back then, I had no business experience or fashion expertise. I didn’t know the first thing about running a fashion company. So, in those early days, I made a lot of mistakes, but I refused to quit on my dream.
My hard work and persistence paid off. Six months after launching, I hosted my first VXXXV Apparel fashion show, and it’s been all uphill from there. From celebrity co-signs (like Rick Ross, Brett Gray, and Jaron Ennis) and recognition by Google to new products and experiential fashion shows, I’m proud of what VXXXV Apparel has become. But more importantly, I’m grateful to be a full-time entrepreneur and set my own schedule, so I never have to choose between running my business and raising my son.
It’s that freedom that inspired me to start Dream Hustle Demand in early 2020. I wanted to help other creative entrepreneurs push the boundaries and defy limitations to build and scale their businesses. So, I turned all the lessons, tools, and strategies I learned with VXXXV Apparel into a resource for my fellow hustlers and go-getters who want to use business to live life on their own terms.
I’m always going to be the person who supports anybody who is bold enough to dream, ambitious enough to hustle, and brave enough to demand everything they want from life. But like everything else that I do, I’m going to do it my way.
I’m a sweatpants-and-sneakers kind of girl with a North Philly accent and a casual tone, and that’s how I’ll show up, because I believe in authenticity. I’m not going to try to impress you with designer clothes or a jetsetter lifestyle, because my goal is to give you real value from the information and opinions I share. And I’ll answer your comments and DMs whenever I can because I’m really here to help you win however I can.
I know that life tries to box us in with stereotypes and made-up limits. It tries to convince us that we have to choose between the things that matter to us. But I believe that we can have everything we want if we’re willing to work for it, and I look forward to helping you build the confidence, emotional strength, and community you need to go get it.
